Im toying around with max...making a female character that is about 3k polys...Do any of you know what some sites are that show good examples of fairly realistic 3d women...wire frame mesh etc...

There are many websites that have free 3D models for download, but they are usually not very good. The commercial models are almost always high-poly.

Jason Manley playing with Max?? uh? =) Depends what you mean by "realistic" models... most artists do as artists do... interpretive reality. What do yo need this for exactly? Full figure?

thanks..Ill try it.

I want something that looks anatomical...clean...good structure...not cartoony...more toward a simplified final fantasy kind of thing...yes full figure will be nice...but Im very interested in seeing some reaallly good heads...both male and female.

yes..toying with max...no choice..I will learn this mumbo jumbo...dont know if Ill get it where my paintings are but its worth a shot...if ya want things done right ya gotta do em yurself..right?

whats it for?? hehehehehe...tis a secret..a very moody, artsy, dark, and fun secret.

ive got a few i can lend ya. turbosquid has some..but some guy there ripped off the nice ones from viewpoint and zygote and rem..and is selling them for profit. coincidentally, i have many of the ones he is selling..and am willing to give em to you for free. if you like any 1 or 2 there speicfically, theres a good chance ive got it.
also, coincidentally, i have a turbosquid shirt. hehehe. cool logo
