[Gothic Gerbil]

Getting ready to tear my beautiful hair out now. I went to the wacom site the other day and downloaded their most recent drivers. Tried installing those, it worked up til the point that it displayed the readme dialog, then when I clicked next it cleared the dialog then froze. I tried reverting back to the previous drivers but that didn't work either. Anyone have any clues whatsoever?? I need to get my tablet working again before break is up! Am I left with having to do a fresh install of 2000? And yes I checked for viruses, I came up clean.
