The nib can be removed by simply pulling it out. Might be hard if it's only a nub though.

Yeah, all you have to do is yank it out. Might need to use pliers or something.
Don't be too careful about shoving the new one in, either -- when I took my pen apart, I was afraid I'd break it if I pushed the nib in too hard, so I didn't push it in far enough and the pen wouldn't work properly. You really have to jam it in there (reasonably, heh). |

My pen has a band of black electrical tape on it due to uver use. And in the 4 years I've had my pen I've used up 3 nibs and one cover (on tablet.) A good pair of tweezers works if you get the nub to small for pliers. I had a nib break when I was putting it in the pen (I wasn't paying attention.) and I had to borrow the wifes tweezers to get the thing out! ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |
