Hi, I am not good and painting, and it consumes too much time. Morevoer it's really hard to set up painting tools in my dorm room.
Unfortunately, new ideas just keep coming up like a fountain of protein starch (or man-juice if you wanna call it), and I really can't hold on to them because they just vanish while I agonize over where to start.
In fact I am much better at drawing with black prismacolor and charcoal/pastel pencil. Think of my style as halfassed imitation of Ron Lemem's drawings. I really want to put some solid presentations on paper, and tonal drawing is the both best and fastest thing I can do. So what do you think? Is it a good idea to add up 'concept' drawings in my portfolio?

Why not? Eaven if you think you'r drawings looks bad, it's plain stupid to not draw every idea you have. I mean, if you let some ideas pass, then you might risk loosing some that's really good. |

Yes draw as many ideas as you can! You will improve both technically plus it will also help you realise your ideas and generate even better ideas ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |
