How do I paint good-looking metal?
steel, rust and so on... I am working on this really big robot thingy, and I realised that I can't paint metal. HELP, please... |

there is a quite good tutorial on how to achieve a very metalliv effect by filters etc... over on qbranch:

for drawing... i would suggest searching for reference and getting a feel for how metal reflects etc... |

Do you mean "paint with brushes"? The tutors only tell how to "creat" metall, not how to "paint" it.
I'm not able to give you a good tutorial but i have made a coloring this time where i have paint metall, so perhaps it helps
