My geocities account fizzled out. Where can i find free hosting either with remote loading or specifically for holding images?

How about paid webspace accounts? They aren't very expensive, and they normally allow remote linking from other sites. They are much more relyable, etc.
And assuming time is money, they are cheaper than the free accounts, because they cause you less trouble
