IM pretty sure it happens to EVERYONE sometime. Anyways lately i have found that i get my inspiration from when people talk. Listen to what your teacher talks about , listen to what other people. Ease drop on other peoples conversations =)... Anyways you get the point. I just figured out that recently i have been inspired by what my art history teacher talks about in class. Everytime he would say a word an image would pop into my mind. Its crazy. But unfortunatly i dont have time to draw them on paper. But they are in my head.
Well listening to what people talk about ( doesnt matter what) gets rid of my creative blockage. Maybe you should give it a go.
Oh and when i mean listen It simply means clear your mind , dont think about things you could paint, dont think at all. Just LISTEN and images will just pop in your mind. when you think Alot and you want to paint then your probably thinking about impressing people with a painting ect... Trying to be better than other people. If these things are on your mind , personally i think that people will try to hard and it wont come out the way they want and you will get frustrated. The key is to have a clear mind ...
Hope this help..

Paint the things around your computer if you can't think of any other subjects. They're handy. I do it all the time. It's a time honored tradition among artists. You'd be amazed at how interesting your work space is. And believe me, do it enough times and you'll think of something else to paint. The key is not let the lack of a subject keep you from painting.
