Hi
Im goning to buy a wacom tablet and I have been thinking alot of witch model Im going to get. I want funktions like tilt, menu strip and the new grip pen sames to be good.
So its probably going to be a intuos2. But the big problem is to choose the size. So I wondering how do you choose the right size? ..dose it depend on how large monitor you have?(I have a "19) or how big moves you do when you draw or how dose is work?
Is it the same thing to draw on fore example a A6 tablet as drawing on a A6 paper? couse I think that drawing on A6 paper is quite small and finicky and hard to do small details on, or is it easyer when you se the result on your "19 monitor?
(Im going to buy A6 or A5 size)

I worked on an aiptek 4x5 tablet which costed like 80 dollars for most of my stuff so far, and it was sufficent I got to a point, though, when I used the tablet almost every day and it started breaking down and finally died.

Recently I bought a 6x8 intuos 2, and it took me a little while to adjust, but it works awesome. I don't think it's necessary to go out and buy a gigantic tablet unless you've worked on one before and can't live without it. It depends kinda how you work, whether you like to draw bigger, using your arm more or tend to draw more with your wrist and hand.

Truthfully, if you're just starting out, a graphire works just as well as the others, especially if you're not using it every day and beating it up with a lot of wear.

Hope I 'elped,

-- Laura

I draw more with my wrist and hand. So then I don't need a big tablet , but I prefer drawing on A5 paper..so should I go fore the A5 tablet then? or can't you compare drawing on a A5 paper and using a A5 tablet?
