Hi, I'm new to this forum and pretty new at doing concept art too. So I went to this site that had a tutorial on doing concept art. I got confused part way through, and I was wondering if anyone here could help me solve it.
The problem is the artist scanned his sketch in his computer and removes his initial marker sketch leaving the inked sketch clean. He then started again to draw with a marker again, and here lies my question: Did he print out the inked sketch onto paper before using his marker? The tutorial |

Yep, looks like it. I'm kind of surprised he didn't just photocopy the marker sketch, so just the lines would show up. 10% is pretty light, and usually doesn't show up after scanning or photocopying.
