I dont really know know of an effienct way of making a splatering texture like blood on the walls or goo or somthing.

My best try was with my logo

I used o bunch of diferent brushes, but I dont really think its all that realistic.

I'm afraid burnout is right. At this time there is no way to recreate the fresh, spontaneous dynamcs of a splatter digitally. I'm sure that one day that will change, but for now the best way is to create them by hand and scan them in. They can be very effective though, creating a nice contrast against the tighter digital areas of images.

if you do it by hand, a toothbrush works pretty well too.

I am in the same boat with everyone who says to splatter and scan. Infact I have some splatters scanned at home that have been turned into brushes for PhotoShop. When I get to them I will upload them and post a link here.

I did a quick search on google and there seem to be a few places with free brushes that include splatters.

One
Two
Three

Good Luck, I will be back with my brushes.

Paintbrush is your friend.

This is possible with Painter 7's new liquid ink brushes. You can make runny ink or splatters with the Liquid ink brushes.

Hey,

I happened to be working on a personal project that needed some splat-type effects. Here is a series of 18 different splat-brushes to use with Adobe Photoshop. They were created simply enough by using black ink, paper and a straw.

Cheers
