Hi all, this is my first post and i first wanted to say what amazing skills everyone has, no matter what your art form i find amazement in each piece i see on here. And now for my question..
Im doing a rough pencil sketch and i was wondering what kinda techniques you all used for mirroring one side of the face (ie.. the other eye and the other side of the nose) or if it was just better to give it a shot at drawing the complete face and detail it from there, i dont seem to have any luck with that and i was just hoping for some input, please help if you can. Thanks and keep up the amazing work.

Greatings man! I think it's better to do the whole head at once.
Check out those sites. And go thru em, if you want get serious with art.

Those are the very basics of drawing heads. But if you grasped that you can draw everything afterwards.
[edit]: After grasping that and LOTS of practice. Forgot to mention the practice. heh Although that is the most important part

Thanks! Its been awhile since ive drawn and our school art program consists of "Not thinking outside of the box" or more certain.. drawing boxes and circles for the rest of my life! Ive drawn for about 4 years but never really grasped the human figure and realized its about time to do it, although perfection will never be acheived i sure can try =) Thanks for the websites and for helpin me out.
