Ok sorry to ask but, What would you people suggest to get started drawing what i am primarily interested in is learning how to draw good referance characters to use for modeling as well as getting a helluva lot better with Photoshop in order to skins and other variouse textures (mostly game related)
So any suggestions, hints, or peals of wisdom for a quasi newbie? Also i start my freshman year of college at the end of this month any suggestions on art classes i might find usefull and most importantly enjoyable?
Other than that id like to say you people are some of the most talented artists i have ever had the privelege of drooling over (and trust me i drool alot ) Laters and thanks |

i'm not quite sure which kind of "drawing" you mean...
"normal" drawing is begun best with buying paper, a pencil and a lot of practise in work and looking at people.
photoshop drawing is a point, i don't figure out fully myself atm. as far i know things about sketching in photoshop i would propose the same procedure as normal drawing just without paper and pencils.
for getting better with photoshop in general, i used a mixture of just testing different effects, listening to skilled artists, looking at skilled artists' work and reading some tutorials (it may be important to try to understand what you're actually doing when following a tutorial... just following doesn't make skills) |

Any chance you might have a few sites in mind with good tutorials? anyways thanks again |
