For those of you that don't have access to Loomis books, there's a fairly good substitute: Drawing The Head And Figure, by Jack Hamm

I actually grew up with this book. It's been in print forever, and it is a really good book. It is not as in-depth, but it is an excellent overview on the essentials. You can buy this book just about anywhere(decent sized bookstores, online book stores), and it is really cheap!

Why did he stop Printing his books anyway. Seems like Loomis would have got about 10 sells just today from people on this board.

hahah. 'it' sucks total ass.

i still like to think The Stand is the only good stephen king book turned into a movie. and people say the book is still better. apparently they changed the movie quite alot and changed the ending completely, which supposedly is better in zee book.

whatever. the movie owns.

wohoo-eh Faust! The tv miniseries 'the stand' is so f**** lame if you ever read the book. Gary Sinese(sp?) is ok as the main char, but yes - they cut out alot of important stuff... 'Stand by me' and 'The shining' are actually very nice movies. 'firestarter' ain't so bad either... In my opinion anyway...

oh-went of topic there.... Andrew Loomis kicks ass!

I believe they use The Stand in dingy South American prisons now that electricity and truth serum have become so costly

it just made me laugh..

i dunno, i can't actually remember much of IT, but it seemed "kinda stupid and stuff" to me :P amusing it was, that i remember. maybe i just have issues in taking movies seriously in general.
