One thing is really pissing me off in 6.0. In 5.5(or whatever) the brush options(where you choose the brush, the opacity, etc.) was in a small regular window like the color, swatch, and layer windows. In 6.0, the brush option window is changed to be like the tools window.
Is there any way to change the brush options window to be like the other small windows(like in 5.5)? It's really $%#@ing annoying to have to click on the little arrow everytime I need to change the brush! |

Shift+ rightclick in your working space with the brush active. the palette comes up. kinda takes a while to get used to but I like it better for a lot of reasons. saves a lot of space. |

Thanks, but that's not what I meant. I want the brushes to be in the window just like the swatches, and others. This is how things were in 5.5 and before. |

are u guys talking about ps6? or the 6.1? back in 6 i had no idea u can shift + right click to bring up the brushes. but in 6.1 u hit enter, and it comes up. well in anycase, u can bind ur wacom pen's buttons to do like shift+ right click or some other modifiers.
btw, well i just hated the new scheme in ps6 no matter how they make it. i think the old style of having just the static window with the brushes works better. bet spoog and among others still uses 5.x because of that. hey how bout going over to adobe and request to have brushes back into the pallettes in their next patch update? who's with me? |

Not me. I absolutely LOVE Photoshop 6 and LOVE the toolbar at the top and the ability to right-click and get context sensative menus right at my mouse tip. No way I'm goin' back! |

well i do mean going back to the old interface completely. in fact i luv ps6's features. the top bar is great for text. no more like stupid dialog box to deal with for text. i like the layer options. but overall it still feels like ps but i like it. just the brush pallette is annoying. and i wanted that pallette back alongside with the swatches and color. u know. just that part. |
