Hey guys

Well, as some of you may know, 3D Palette is down, but in the meantime I'm helping out at CG Channel ( http://www.cgchannel.com ) and since I'm not above begging, pleading and doing other things that make will make you feel sorry for me: Anyone up for writing tutorials for CG Channel?

We're specifically looking for tutorials of the 3D variety, but if you're interested in writing 2D stuff, I guess I could be persuaded to accept that too. I am a nice guy after all.

Now, not withstanding that you should feel a certain duty to write these tutorials to help out your fellow man, it should also be noted that writing them is a great way to get some good exposure. I think CG Channel gets about 10 hundred millions unique visitors a day. Something around there.

And don't think about trying to hide from me. I'm going to get to you...!

I wouldn't mind. I used to run the Lightwave Webring, so I'm used to helping folk(I say used to cause as long as Yahoo keeps my administrative powers I refuse to do maintenance on the Ring). I use Lightwave, so my tutorials would largely center around modeling, texturing, and surfacing. Feel free to email me,

I'm sorry i have'nt answered your email yet. Been busy as usual

Me and Joachim could do one for you. I've just done a couple of new characters and we could break it down to steps.

Yah, Frost that was me! Now, I'm trying to make it 3 in a row with CG Channel...

btw, frost, you sure you don't want to write one?

Anthony...I added you to my icq list this morning. Probably the easiest way to talk.

Micke: No problem man, I realise that Joachim keeps you pretty busy...

Yeah, it'd be cool if you guys could do a tutorial. No rush...how about in a month? month and a half? let me know. thanks man.

Is there still a need for tutorials. I've got good a bit of experience with 3D Studio MAX.
