Welcome to The Loomis Project. This site is an attempt to spread Andrew Loomis' artistic thoughts and teachings to the general public. It is my pleasure to supply his greatest text, Figure Drawing For All It's Worth, in full on this site.

If you like Hogarth, then just wait until you have a look at Loomis. He not only looks at the anatomical structure without going overboard with it, he also looks at how to make the figures attractive - something that Hogarth apparently overlooked for the most part.
