so,...server, my email, my webpage..everything was stolen over the weekend...the building housing the computers was broken into and all the computers were taken. Long story short, they found out who did it and everything was returned. VERY LUCKY.....i had backups of my webpage and the forums but those were on CDs that got stolen too....

Status of me: I finally got a internet connection setup at my new home....56k modem

i hate modems.....theres a chance i can get DSL in a month or so....i hope so

anyway, i do have a connection now though so i will try to get Draw club at the very least setup. If you e-mailed me in the last month i'll start getting to it now. I dont have my tablet hooked into my computer at home yet either, so havent had a chance to mess with the graemlins and other wierd icons artifacts.

I don't think the crook, bastard, dishonest wart of society (thief) had any idea that he'd piss off about 4000 people at once when he took your machine.
Just good that the guy didn't proceed to format the disks and fill them with porn or something like that ...

Well, definately some jolly news everything got returned.

Anyway, good luck with the modem situation. I'd be relaxing for a while after thinking your webpage and whole digital community here took a walk down Boardwalk for a bit. =)

Wow.. it's absolutely amazing that you got it back. A friend of mine had a serious hard drive crash the day after we were talking about backup solutions.. He ended up paying a bundle to get his data recovered. *shudder*

Well I'm glad they're back too, i thought you guys had moved while i was away and not left a note or something, i was starting to suffer bad

Wow, that certainly wasn't on my list of possibilities as to why the forums were down. As with everyone else, I'm glad everything was returned and in working condition.

DSL eh? I hope you don't go through the nightmare I did to get it. Seems like everyone goes through hell to get DSL the first time around. The good news is that once you get it there usually isn't much problem after that.

geeze...lucky yes...i was starting to get bored on the net when the forums didnt show up on my monitor....kepts clicking and checking if it was back...glad to see it back...btw..the cops got it back pretty quickly
