Hi,
Does anyone have the book 'The Illusion of Life : Disney Animation' who wants to scan it. It's out of print and the second handed books are too expensive :P

I was at Chapters today, I could swear I picked that book up...I'll check the price again next week but someone here removed my scanner for some reason on the really slow computer (15 minutes per page, ahhg!), but if the book seems worth it I'll buy it. Might have been a different book but it had disney, animation and life in it, and I'm pretty sure it had illusion  Unless I'm smoking something |

A very good book. My brother owns it. Its worth the money.
I didn't like animating very much though. Too much drawing. Labor |

I have that book 
But you might try http://www.harvestbooks.com/
they have found all kinds of books for me in the past..including a hard to find "The Art of The Nightmare Before Xmas" among others..and sometimes the prices are crazy..and sometimes reasonable. They usually get back to you within a few days and generally with all kinds of pricing options.

oh..and youll pay to have it scanned? err...there is like..300 pages or more in that!

You would need a double wide scanner to get it in. It's 10 by 11.

| good lord! the used ones are way expencive! .. i got mine for 70 bucks back in the day.. i would scan it but i dont have a scanner .. i can look at my schools book store and see if they have some used ones but peeps almost always keep this one .. ill keep an eye out for it though.. |

that place is in spanish but if you look on the side under animation then goto disney they have the illution of life listed at 108$ anyhow later.. |
