Hi people, need help again....

Since i'm new to the digi art business, i need a little help on summit, i want to create a realistic meteorite storm on a vast landscape, showing craters etc. kinda like the film Armageddon at the beginning showing all their smoke trails behind and giving it a sense of immense velocity.

Any ideas people?

I'm using Adobe, but need help on the smoke trails and the glow etc.

You need to learn the basics I guess. What we all do here. Post your work and you will get comments what/how to do better.

gowansy: don't take it bad, it's just faustgfx, the master of rust and NDA's - truly harmless ...

ANyway, you might want to do what s4sb said - get going and post your image - people here will give you feedback (most of the time, hehe).

Best thing to do is starting to paint. Look at reference - need craters - go to a NASA site - check 'em out, etc. ...

there's no such program as adobe. adobe is a company who has this product called Photoshop.

Tnx loki your a star....however do u mean paint as on the comp or on paper, i know i sound lame, and u guys must be sick of me......every1's been a n00bie at some point

Well.. if you don't have a tablet (www.wacom.com) then you can try drawing outlines on paper, scan in and then finish the thing in photoshop.

Oh although lenZ flaer and fire plugins look neat, try not to use them unless you want to royally screw up your image..
