I know this is off topic and all but i was wondering how many of you all are going to be at E3 ? maybe we could meet up .. just a thought

I went last year, didn't meet anyone from the forum. Cash is not in my bank account, so a trip to LA is out of the question.

I might be going, still waiting to see if relic's paying my way. I know I can't wait to show the stuff I've been working on, it's all been secret so far. One of the best comments I've heard after someone saw our game, "holy sh!t! people are going to foam their pants"

I went last year, with a friend. I would rather spend my money on this year on Sigraph (3d animation event, same location). I could have the spelling wrong on it, I need to find the register location.

I went last year, but I'm not working with the gaming magazine anymore, so it's unlikely I'll be going. It is local though... 45 minutes from here, so traveling expenses aren't an issue...

Damn i wish more of you were going eheh .. well ill be there hopefully a few days .. i was able to get the free pass and all so me and friend are going to hit it up .. hopfully some of yall will be there .. eheh so far we have some maybes eheh .. if not ill be sure to post some pictures from the trip eheh ..

Ok, I e-mailed a bunch of people. It looks like everybody who lives in and around LA is NOT necessarily going to be at E3 (go figure.

) So we'll probably meet in the event hall, then after the expo closes, pick up a few extra people and go partying. Or maybe just eating. In any case, the more the merrier!

Depending on how many people we are, different venues are an option. Since it's on a friday we could go hang out at my favourite watering hole, the Firehouse, and mingle with the folks from Digital Domain, since they're usually there every friday. The only drawback is, that it's in Santa Monica - which is about a 20min ride from the convention center.
On the other hand, there's NOTHING to do near the convention center or downtown anyway.

If we're just a few, then we could retire at my house and just hang ... oh well ... just a suggestion
