S4Sb and I have been thinking about it lately, namely that it would be pretty cool to meet somewhere here in Germany this summer on a weekend or two to draw and paint stuff all day. Originally this was planned as a meeting between German Sijun'ers but I think anyone from Europe could join in.

The specifics are yet to be worked out, but to minimize travel time for everyone I think that meeting somewhere in the middle of Germany would be best, maybe Frankfurt would be neat.

Thinking about it, I think Rothenburg would be cool because it would provide the perfect setting. It has a lot of buildings left from the Middle Age so I think that would make for some cool settings to draw. However Rothenburg is in Southwest Germany so it would be pretty far for some.

So, anyone interested ?

yepp, right. And I'd like to add that we might extend the time to a whole week. Travelling around to more places than only one city. During summertime german students get a ticket that they can travel through whole germany for only 30 US$. So if you are 1 to 20 years of age (or if you look like that) we could fake student tickets for you.

Sounds interesting... what week exactly and how have you planned the travelling, train, bus? I have lots of work in the summer, so I'm not 100% sure if I can take part... but we'll see it later
