Jeff Wand, 8 year game industry veteran

I work at Greystone Technology in San Diego as a 3D modeler/texturer/animator. We're primarily a military defense contractor doing VR combat simulation, but we have a small commercial division focusing on VR motion base rides and console games.

I've been working in the industry for about 8 years, working at Origin, Ion Storm, and Red Storm working on Privateer, Wing Commander IV Playstation, Daikatana, Deus Ex, Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear, and Freedom: First Resistance.

Freelance artist and designer.

Current contract with Verizon Online designing web sites and original art work for www.verizon.com, www.verizon.net, dsl.verizon.net as
well as several internal sites.

as a freelancer I also do:
Story boards and concept development for science fiction movies and RPG's (old fashion D&D type games).
I draw sci-fi comics under the Bloodfire Studios imprint of which I am co-owner and assist in the coloring of various mainstream comics
with my good friend Jeromy Cox and MoreFunner.com.

Some day I would like to break into the video games and design one of my comic books as a Real Time Strategy.

I do computer coloring and textures for comic books, textures for 3d models (which i hate with a passion), some Maya 3.0 keyframe animation, and dvd menu artwork(a lot more work than you'd think) Right now I'm trying to focus on learning Painter, which is so far the best art Program I have ever used. I can't wait to combine it with 2d art and Photoshop.
