Janne and I had a little chatter just prior to posting this thread, and as we are both finishing our schools in the next few days, we decided to paint 500 paintings each in the coming 3 or so months.
These will be fast, about half an hour per piece practise paintings. Concentration more on form & value than level of detail or finished look. 5-10 paintings/day should do it, depending on how many days can be used.
Anyone else interested is of course welcome aboard, doing this in group will probably help anyone with lack of motivation.
The problem is, we need 500 themes for these paintings! This is the part that can very easily sink the ship, and even if we were to come up with the themes by ourselves, they'd probably be something we are already comfortable with. ie. animals for me, people for janne.

So we are asking you to post here any and all subjects you come up with. one, a few, a dozen, it will help a great deal. Also, I believe if enough material is gathered, this thread will help those with trouble coming up with a subject to paint.

It could be a setting, something happening, an animal/other specific thing etc. Remember, they're supposed to be fast paintings, so it doesn't have to be anything too complicated/special. Also, mark the theme with a number, the next poster picking up where previous one stopped.
