hi
my name is Mark
I am looking to aquire experience in game development by providing freelance 2D/3D art at low cost to proffessional game developers, or any other art related job
I am pretty talented/skilled and hard working www.members.home.net/mpercaval/home.htm
I am doing this to get past the catch 22 and really appreciate any help.
currently I am involved in a couple parttime commissions but not enough to quit my day job, so am only considering serious projects
thank you for reading this

Mark Maxwell

PS I am surprised to see such an active digital art forum without any real employement oppurtunity structure , perhaps any freelance artists looking for work want to add to this thread also

Don't be so quick to judge, jeez! MPM your works looks pretty cool, I think more digital work/refined work would improve your portfolio, and maybe more design work but it looks pretty cool

There are lots of decent people here and there are a few assholes.
From your quote I'd have to say the latter.

wow freddio... that wasnt very nice... bad day or what?

MPM your work isnt too bad.. right now you need to work on lighting and colour technique. your basic forms and shapes are good, as frost pointed out. start dealing with contrast.

and venture out of the Giger look.. the paintings are a little too busy..

anyways keep working and Im sure youll get yourself a job.

I think this forum is not the right place to go to find work since there are mostly artists here-

Oh and, almost forgot:

you made the biggest sin you probably can when you want to get work: give your site a title/name!

When someone actually adds you to his favourites your site shows up as "untitled".

hehe
your right Freddio that was a bit arrogant of me, almost as arrogant as your comment(why did you add a link to your gallery to that post?kind of makes it funny)

thanx for the input everyone else, my paintings do lack some techniques, they were done when I airbrushed as a hobby and not having any art education I did lack critical design elements, I've been refining that since I started on the computer though, more control with the digital
and I am trying to shake the Giger influence:-)

I guess this is more of a critic forum?I actually have got quite a few job offers over the last 4 days just by posting such a thread in forums

hehe, forgot about that Nex, thanx for reminding me, put it up a bit too quick

thanx again fellas, especially Freddio, I needed a good laugh:-)

Paying job offers?
Let us know what boards you posted to...

Yeah, this is mostly a critique/technique board, and some issue discussion.
