You can't visit my drawing applet (temporarily hosted on my friend, Rob's computer ..*known as iimnyscrt*), without seeing a handful of sijun-referred artists, having a blast, & drawing up a storm.

You also can't avoid the occasional asshole, like Warchi|d, who actually gets a rise out of loggin in, scribbling on someone's artwork, and leaving. I might respect a dipshit like that, if he had the balls to go into an art gallery with a can of spraypaint, risking a huge fine and getting his idiot ass hauled off to jail for a few years. Come to think of it, I don't respect that either.

Still, immature pricks like him, are the reason I screen shot my work about every minute. Immature pricks like him also happens to be the reason that I'll be adding a password to my applet. This is unfair to most of you... but it's come to this out of necessity. I put the PaintChat up, only so people can go there, and have a blast. It works 95% of the time. I warn people who draw vulgarities, and they usually back off.

My friend, Rob, may be adding a password to the applet he's presently hosting within a day or 2. This is a tough decision to make, as I love for the board to be freely accessible. We haven't enabled a moderating option. We're still figuring that one out (all of the directions are in Japanese... so it will take some experimenting)

Warchi|d not only defaced mine, but every other artist drawing at the time. Here are the screenshots before and after:

I'm sure Warchi|d, and shit-heads like him, feel very clever after defacing artwork. Hell, it's brilliance at it's finest... because he's ultimately wrecked it for all of you who like to show up, and just have fun.

Once the password is placed, I'll respond to emails from people who have proven their respect of that area. Other's will have to visit my chatboards at my homepage, and win the confidence of me, or my acting moderators. I, or they, will reveal the password in email or private chat. If another ass-face like Warchi|d shows up again, I will change the password, and the process will have to start all over.

Sorry it's coming to this... I do it, only out of respect to those of you who make the PaintChat a great place to visit, and it is you I am protecting. I also have close family that frequents the area... including my mother. I can't risk the embarrassment of her witnessing someone drawing vulgar pics.

When Rob and I figure out the moderator option, we'll probably lift the password, and simply ban disrespectful users permanently.

Thanks again, Warchi|d. Looks like you got a rise out of me, after all.

Thank you, GiGGeR-San,

It just dawned on me that I have a roommate that speaks Japanese. I could tow my lazy-ass up to his room, and ask him to translate... and if he has trouble with the characters, I suppose I could hit-up one of the many Japanese friends he has visiting every other day of the week.

That link is awesome, though. I'm gonna see how many dirty words I can learn in multiple languages, now. >:)

Unfortunately, there will always be people who like to ruin other folks pleasure. The reason being that they can't draw themselves. Jealousy is what it comes down to.

I find the applet and your company very inspirational and it's an excellent practice. So a password is the only way to go.

Gah, didn't you have the same problem with your Groupboards before? what a pain. I remember Board #2 for a while was the only good board. I hope you get it figured out soon. I wish I knew how to get a PaintChat for another group I'm apart of, but I might have to stick with a GroupBoard since I don't know anyone with a server or someone who speaks fluent Japanese

Yeah, some people just are so incredibly immature. I think yesterday someone came in and drew a swastika...

The first joker I tried to paint, I'd almost finfished when some guy went and drew black lines over the entire pic.

So I started doing another one.

2 minutes after I took a screenshot, a real joker came along and wiped out the board for everyone!

feebsaint: I only just discovered this applet by reading this posting. Fantastic stuff!

KrassOtti: It was a swastika that got drawn over the first pic.

Awesome Joker

I'm glad so many of you are commenting! It re-establishes the fact that people really enjoy it... it also re-establishes the number of the dipshits we all get to deal with.

A word on screenshots. Many out there don't know how easy it is to take one and save it. I highly recommed the free program, "Irfanview." You can find it at download.com, under (I think) image editing. Like I said, it's free, and it's also small. I normally hit "Printscreen," while I have painter open in the background. Painter won't paste an image unless it's open at the time you take your shot...

Irfanview, however, will know to pull from the clipboard, even if you take the screen shot before opening the program. It's under edit> paste. I'll take screenshots every minute or so... it's just a precaution. Your latest screenshot will be the one that pastes, so it will be the most up-to-date image. It's how I managed to have something decent to show before that dipshit scribbled on my piece.

If I get moderating going soon, I'll probably ask some of you to moderate for me, while I'm not available. I'm quite familiar with, and trust, quite a few of you... and you'd be perfect for the job, if you're interested... you know who you are. Keep this in mind

Mr. Mike. Is this you?

I logged on the other night just as someone was logging off and he left this behind so...

I thought I'd have some fun coloring it.

*Thank you very much*
