Anyone know if there is a demo version of painter out there?

Alternatively, is there a student version avaliable? I'm 16, and as such simply don't have the money to buy it.

i just checked the corel web site and i didn't see a tryout available. you may want to ask the support crew at corel if there is one.

usually you just have to fax a photocopy of your student ID to the vendor to get such a discount. Hmm, I wonder if my old ID is lying around somewhere...

you get painter classic for free with a wacom... you wouldn't wanna be playing with painter without a tablet anyway. my artpad is small but it only cost AU$200

Check Creation Engine. It's generally cheaper than Journey Ed by a decent amount.
