I have a general touch what something means, but I don't really know every fact of some term and so I sometimes get lost when speaking about art. Mostly digital anyway.

Somebody please explain some criteria of these terms.

- CG

- fine

- concept

- and what is the term for old art or non-digital art like oil-painting and watercolor-paintin IRL - - or is this the fine-arts?

CG means Computer generated - applies to anything created on computer or that incorporates computer modified material in the last stage.

Fine? Could mean like fine art, traditional media to an advanced level of realism. Could mean of a great resolution or detailed.

Concept is just that, a concept drawing would be an illustration of an original idea, a working drawing.

Best to call non CG art (non digital) traditional art.

Hope that's what you wanted

Yes that really was what I wanted. But the difference between "traditional art" and "fine art" stayed little unclear to me.

Traditional art can be done by anyone, regardless of skill, as long as it is paint, pencils, etc (non-digital)...Fine art is usually associated with the masters of painting, sculpture etc...Rodin, Rembrandt, Rubens, Seargent...etc

Thats my two cents

Fine art. You could view this more broadly as the fine arts: visual art, music, literature, dance, poetry, performance art, etc. Basically, I associate the term fine art more with expression and communication of ideas and emotions, and experimentation with the medium of communication. I guess you could oppose this to commercial art which is more about symbolizing a product.

I could go into a whole tirade of artists vs. artisans, art vs. craft, etc, but I think I've done that before (check the archives).

Around here, Traditional art simply means art (of any sort) done by hand in the real world using any tangible media like oil paints, graphite, and might I add sculpture as a tangible parallel to 3D modelling.
