Hey folks. My (Christian) girlfriend has her birthday on May 12, and I want to draw her something special... (then blow it up and stick it in a nice frame).
I was thinking of a Jesus character standing on a cliff, overlooking a valley. Much like Spooge's revision of Golongria's Tarzan.
I'm having serious trouble finding reference for a panoramic background (the valley) though, and I was wondering if anybody had some nice idea's the would go well with the subject (religion).
I'll post some sketches soon... |

heh, um if you're drawing JC on a hilltop looking over the lands etc doesn't that mean you have to put satan in there offering all of it to him?

Jeez, some guys just can't leave a serious comment. I like the idea alot, and would look great with religious imagery. I say go for it, just don't give him a spear like spooge's tarzan.

Oscar: Sometimes it's hard to know whether to move a thread or not, but the general rule is that if you haven't posted a picture in the thread which you're looking for feedback on then it doesn't go in WIP.

draw a jesus on a cross, but do something different with it...Like Dali did. Just an idea or maybe just a portrait of that lady in the extrememly good tv-serie "Touched by an Angel"
