Are you supposed to mix it with water or anything?
I just spit that shit outa the tube and start mixin n paintin, ive never been taught or read up on how to paint with it.
just wondering, is it easyer to blend if you put water in it??

WEll i might be able to help you... BTW go check out my acrylic painting in the finish gallery section =) ... What you will see there is straight out of the tubes and ive also used some retarder at some places...
WEll depends what you are going for. Acrilics can be just like Water colors if you mix it with water does almost the same effect.

If you want to translucide kinda painting than mixe it with water.. YOu can also dilute the paiting with retarder.. you can mixe acrilics with the yellow of an egg if you want it to stick better to a surface. Lots of combinations possible.

I usually dilute it with water/ retarder to do some shading or smoke or clouds or something... I dont like to start out with a transluside color at first unless i want the water color look...

Ah okay thanks i put mine up aswell, the scan is pretty bad, but the painting is turning out well, but i wanted to smooth out the guys skin allittle.

yes don't use it strauight it clumps alot... and plan out the painting ahead of time cause its like quick drying cement... once its down its dry in seconds.
