hi, i�m going to studie design. Now i have to decide between the print media and the multimedia. i�m interested in 3d design although i�m a beginner and it�s hard work.
so my question is: what kind of work does a 3d designer do ? i mean where can he work to get money ?
is it always the same work in special effects, or is there a chance of being creative in many medias (illustrations, communication designs).
i hope there are some guys that work as a 3d designer and have some experience in this job.
please tell some interesting things about it.

Some 3d artist are working in gaming industrie.. the most creative direction in my opinion.
Some in special effects for movies and TV..
Then there are architects, industrial designers, cloves designers..

I've done some sprites for 3rd party game scenarios, animated 3d logos, etc.
It's tougher to be hired as a 3d Graphics Desginer cause you gotta be hella good or you gotta have tons of professional experience. Not to mention there are somewhat less jobs for the field...
