Hello ,we all know em , those tasty trailers from games where we see what the game looks like when it's played. Well I would like to make such a video myself and edit it. But I have on litle problem ... with what program can I record the game when I'm playing it ? Or is that not possible ? That can't be ... oh no ... please tell me there is a way to record it with some kind of program

But it's Counterstrike , it has a console , you think it'll work with that ?

Yeah, halflife uses a modified quake 1 engine. I imagine it would work, though I haven't tried it myself.

most games that have consoles, example quake 1,2 or 3 you can do it by Record "Moviename"
and then just "play moviename"
the files are big tho like 3 megs +

If you're talking about recording your gameplay as a digital movie (.avi file not something that has to be played back in the game engine) the way I did it was to have a video capture card in my system. Then when you play, you output the video to a VCR on record. When you're done, capture the video of you playing off the VCR. I don't know if there's an easier way than that or not.
