depends, do you use phshop 6.0 ? Then you need to set "stylus" on the opacity and size if you want pressure on them both. That you can do on the top menu that appears when selecting f.ex paintbrush.

click on the 'window' menu item at the top of the screen in photoshop, in the drop down there will be an option called 'Show Options', click it. then your screen will look something like this (make sure you have the brush tool selected):
sorry its kinda blurry, i jacked down the resolution. see the area I have circled? that the stylus options; check 'Opacity' to have your pressure come up as brush pressure.
if none of that works, then guessing by that and your other problems, its a driver problem; try uninstalling and reinstalling your tablet.
hope this helps!

I had the same problem a few days ago. I couldn't get rid of it until I reformatted... I was (and still am) running Whistler.
Hope that helps

The one time the pressure sensitivity stopped working for me was when my cat had played with the pen (EVIL!!) and had messed the tip up - I didn't even notice that a small piece had been broken off.
Check the tip.
Otherwise, adobe photoshop 5.0 SHOULD work with the pressure sensitivity - I'm using it at home and it's working just fine.
As the others said: Try reinstalling.
