I have been hanging out here for some time now, and I have to say that there is a lot of talented people here.
Anyway, I have a question. I have a lot of drawings I would like to color. But when I scan them the drawing looks like hell.... I have followed the tuts on this page, as well as them at Psonics's page. Adjusting brightnes/contrast just don't work.
Hope anybody could help me with this, so I can post my pictures here to.

You should post a scan. Then we will have a better idea of how to help you. |

Try tracing over your original copy. What might have happened is you've smudged your paper with your hand while drawing, it's hard to prevent unless you use another paper on your palm to prevent smudging. When I retrace my scans look normal compared to when I don't retrace and it comes out blotchy. |

Thanx for your advices. First off all, the drawing isn't smugged while actually drawing it. It is clean when I scann it. It is the scann that looks like shit. Anyway, I will try to ink it first, but I don't think that is the problem. You guys are probably able to scan a drawing without making it look like ****. And I can't say I want to ink everything I draw before I scan it.
I'll try some more. Look out in the work under progress section. I'll post a drawing as soon as possible.
