How do you people go about texturing grass? I'm working on a picture that has grass in the foreground and the background.
So if you could give me some tips or post some of your work that would be mucho helpful. Whether the grass is close or in the distance, it doesn't matter(both would be better ). Thanks for all your help.

I created this a while ago
I didnt spend too much time on the grass, but i am pretty satisfied with it.
As u can see one of the filters i used for the grass texture was a vertical motion blur...
I also gaussian-blurred the grass in the background.

What I like to do, but don't have any pics online to show, is to put a base color down whether it be green for a lot of grass or brown for patches of grass, then I go through sections of very thin lines usually a mix of light browns and darkgreens, the more blades the more detailed and usually the better it looks as well as different shades and colors of greens and browns. This also helps it look more realistic...
Hope that helps
