I would hesitate to buy this sort of thing one E-bay - you don't wana be stuck with something that performs less than perfect.

Wacom sells referbished pads for about 25% less than the Wacom store prices. However, if you shop around (pricewatch, etc) you may find compairable prices for a new pad.

Tis your money...and if you don't have $800 bucks to drop on one, E-bay might be an option... or start saving your pennies.

Good question. I am thinking it might be possible. But I am not sure. The U in USB is for Universal if I remember right. Universal for platforms... So there is maybe a chance it would work. Then you would need to get the USB drivers for it. I am maybe about 65% sure it would convert. Maybe someone else knows about porting, or has done this...

I thought USB meant universal across platforms as well, but I didn't want to drop the money down without being sure. It seems like a good deal, as the ADBs almost always go for substantially less than other versions. It's an intuos 6x8, BTW.

Oh and another thing is that the Wacom site lists the USB tablets as "Mac or PC", instead of separate like the other versions.... hmm....

may have found the answer on the Griffin Technology web page:

The iMate allows users to easily connect any ADB peripheral to iMacs, PowerBook G3s, B&W G3s, G4s, iBooks, and PCs with USB ports.

Hey! Just a quick question about WACOM interfaces. I'm looking on eBay and stuff at buying one, and I see a bunch are selling at really low prices that use the Mac ADB interface. I know someone sells an ADB-USB converter, so my question is would I be able to use that for a PC, or is the converter only good for Mac USB? Sorry, i'm not too technically minded. And also sorry if I anger anyone for asking a "newbie" tablet question

Thanks for any assistance in advance!
