Well, g'day to you all!
Although I've been fooling around with Photoshop and 3DS MAX for a few years, I've always been drawn (no pun intended) to more traditional art (read: painting), but have, to be honest, been to lazy for it. I've just never managed to mix colors etc in a good way.
Until last night, when I downloaded the Painter 6 demo.
GAAH! OK, so now I'm completely hooked and have decided to try to persuade my relatives to buy me a WACOM for my 18th birthday in a couple of months. However, I'm a bit unsure of which one to get. Currently, I'm stuck between the Intuos A5 and the Graphire. The Intuos seems a bit more... 'proffesional', so I'm thinking about that one. BUT, I would really like your advice as to which one to get? Why is one better than the other? Short reviews welcome. =)

Thanks in advance, hope to post my (crappy) artwork here as soon as I get my WACOM! =)

Oh, please forgive me! I should've checked the FAQ... Sorry guys! *bows*
Well then, it looks like I'll convince my parents to get me an Induo.
Again, sorry for my stupidity!

Hey no problem, dont feel too bad. I did the same when I was new.

You could have got much worse though. Some people round here are nasty to Newbie's.

So..Welcome to Sijun

Thanks, Collosimo! I've started to post some simple replies on people's artwork and stuff, but it feels a bit 'wrong' since I don't have anything to show for myself. =/

And, indeed, I could've gotten way worse. People have this incredible habit of forgetting how it was like being a newbie at something. =)

So once again, thanks!
