Yeah...I've remmember seeing the one with the dragon; when I saw the gladiator one it looked similar in the 'look'. I really like the colors/scheme they used in the first one. Finally an agency made some cool looking stuff. Thanks for the link to the site...

I happened to catch a couple of those ads and I think they're terrific. The dragon one I believe is the first one I saw, and praised it right away. It's nice to see people trying something a little more creative/artistic then the usual catch phrases and quirky comedy, although some of those can be good too

Hey, thanks for posting this. I also agree they're fantastic ads (and not just shampoo ads.) Hmm...it would be great to know who did them.

I see your from BC, a few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be able to take a trip to to Lost Boys Studios who are based in Vancouver http://www.lostboys-studios.com . They made some incredible commercials, i especially like the ones for Bacardi. Check out their demo reel thingy http://www.lostboys-studios.com/movies/Opener.avi
its fucking cool.

These are absolutely gorgeous ads! From an Editor's, Motion Graphic Designer's, and Visual Effects Artist's standpoint, I have been mentioning this to co-workers and clients as being a very well run campaign that looks very hi-end. The audience that Helene Curtis has reached with these ads has far surpassed who they had hoped to initially reach, to my knowledge. I was hoping to get these onto tape, at least VHS, maybe DV, but in the meantime I'm glad they have web versions up that I can refer to. Gorgeous!

According to the credit list on adcritic.com the Effects were done by BUF Compagnie - Paris, The Post Production by Media Lab Services and the Production Company was Quad/Monster. The agency was J. Walter Thompson - also of note to check is the Whirlpool commercials which are also richly colored and very well done. A similar style by a different company - BUF Compagnie's homepage is http://www.buf.fr as they are a french company. The page appears to be in English though.
