But still, it's unusual that in a group of digital artists there is a much higher percentage of left handed people to right handed people when compared to the general population.

I'm right handed by the way.

I'm right handed. There are four left handers in my family:

  • Mom
  • My brother, Grant
  • My sister, Kathryn
  • My sister, Jennifer

And not one of them has a creative bone in their bodies... My brother, Cameron, is right handed, and is a writer and an artist. My brother, Greg is a right handed artist. I'm an artist. Go figure on the "left hand/right brain" quota there, eh?

Right handed. Period.

btw, the issue of "drawing" with either hand doesn't concern me ...

Wow, it's amazing how many left-handed artists there are.

I'm left handed as well, which makes me EXTRA special because I'm a girl and left-handed girls are rare

However, I use the mouse with my right hand which means some of my initial digital paintings were done right handed.

Take off your clothes. It's OK - I'm an artist.

I cant Tell anymore. I was Born a Lefty for everything.

and then with my eye problems i got a patch on my left eye*arrrr matey!* and then i found it easier to use my right hand for things.

i can use my mouse with either hand.

i draw with my left and write with my left.

oh, and i can play quake Y-axis normal and flipped! no difference. umm..

i drink soda with my right hand and eat with my left...but its hard to brush my teeth because neither hand wants too.

oh! and my right arm is more flexible than my left, but my left is stronger. so when i have an itch on my back, i bend my right arm over my shoulder and use my strong left arm to pull it down......

gee. i typed a quite a bit for a simple question. hmm....thats the 4 am talking, it says goto sleep dammit! night......*thud*.ZzZzZzZzZz......

Left handed: draw, write, bat, swing a golf club, mouse

Right handed: catch, throw, bowl, disc golf, arm wrestle

I kick right footed.

So I'm just all screwed up. I don't personally know anyone like me, but it seems that there are a lot of us in this forum. I guess that says something. What I don't know.

just to add one to the list I'm a lefty too.
Though I use my right hand for most things, move mouse, using things, manipulate a chainsaw on a hamster, throwing a rocket or ten in quake etc..

This is strange how many drawers/painters are left handed, here and everywhere. I've always wonder if there is some medical reason about this. something like the right hemisphere is coordinating better the eye/hand relation.. This strange

Left on tablet right with mouse. I was ambidextrous when I was a kid but the damn teachers forced me to pick one to work with. So now I draw with my left but play all sports right handed.
