Project CCC:

Common Concept Collaboration

It's Pretty much the same as Draw Club

This is a project that is "Just For Fun." I was a game designer/artist for over 4 1/2 years. The creative environment of that job included a ring of artist friends that were not only fun to be around, but incredible in talent. On occasion, a few of them and I would make up a theme, like "Draw A Troll," and each of us would draw/paint a Troll in our own way, then compare our works... it was always a ton of fun, and a big success.

I've started Project CCC to expand that group to any artist who might be interested in participating. I'll be posting (with permission) every submitted piece on my personal site, Mike's Pencil.

SO!!... If you'd like to participate, the theme for this month is: "The End Of A Warrior" The deadline for entries is set at February 1, 2001.

Posting your images here would be great, and I'd prefer it if you'd also E-Mail me( [email protected] ) your official drawing/painting submissions, as it's the surest way I have your permisson to post them on my site.

Please visit my site to find out more about the project. This is not a contest! All entries will be posted, as long as they are not vulgar or political in nature

Thanks, bugscratch! I didn't know what "Draw Club" was, so -as you can see- I ammended my initial post. I took a look at it, and realize that because it's old news to most of everyone who visits here, I may not get a very good response from anyone here... although I still hope everyone takes interest. It will be monthly, and there will be artists participating from all over (not just from here), so it will be a great melting pot!

My post was not intended to be negative towards your project, I just wanted to make you aware that there's already something similar going on....
That said, I like the idea and see no reason why there shouldn't be 2 of these projects.
