among the talent and ability on this forum, i'm sure that some if most of you know in some general area of what i'm asking .. but does anybody have a good thumb on books in the sense of key lighting, anatomy, and composition? I am nowhere near a master artist or anywhere near the level i am sure i am capable of, art seems to be the only thing i've really ever been good at, yet, i find it hard for myself to practice or draw all the time because mostly what i draw (in my eye) looks like complete garbage... at least most of the time, when i reference something, like a photograph/etc ... i seem to be able to have no problems, and i have a pretty keen eye for detail... but coming up with characters/people/scenes in my head and putting them on paper or photoshop never ever come out how i picture them... i was curious if anybody knew of any good books that can help me in this area... i am going to school to be a 3d animator, and i have a good sense for timing and would like to brush up more on modeling and conceptualization (is that a word?) ... i know this comes with practice, but, if i could accelerate myself with the help of a good book or 2 or however many it takes me, that would be great!
