Decided to give it a go, gave up on this one, had trouble with feet etc, advice welcomed.

Started on a white background and didn't cut it out that well.

Wow, I am completely taken by the atmosphere you created in your last pic Joachim! It's incredible! I love the lighting, and the subject matter.. I know this is probably strange, but I think that is one of my favorite pieces from you, Joachim. You rule my friend.

Hey Plouffe, I know i should have asked for permission or something... but i couldn't resist taking your gas-mask thing and trying to work on it!

I suck - first of all, so don't get offended or something like that - that i worked on your thingie...
You can even go to page 3 of the thread to see my lame attempt at the gas'-masque

But your thing really looked like a good raw form - to take it further, and i decided that taking that task on myself may improve my skills...
Everything, in your pic, seemed to be in place and the shades and color schemes bases were really good - all i did basically was adding more detail and.. well... you know

ANYWAY - it's not done yet... but i just had to post this cause it's coming out pretty satisfying ! (IMHO)

Tell me what you think ppl...
(you can see the original image by Plouffe a few posts up from here)

Thx Tree Merchant, Klayhamn, Janne...

Janne, I think it looks very good. Infact, none of the ones you've done looks bad, all good. Just more or less good ideas (what else can you exspect when doing 10 different ones, hehe). I guess, as idea, I like the one with the gas-man walking his dog. . . that's hilarious ..you have a really rich feeling to your work, love it.

This thread kicks arse! Great work everyone.
Hope I can play too.
Not sure why a droid would need a gasmask tho but anyways.

Hot gasmasks folks! This thread was fun! I finally grabbed some time to join in. Better late than never, I guess.
I give you "fly-fishing" and "oops".
Muhahahahahaha!

Hooray for geocities! Looks like I'm gonna pack up a few things and head on back to the old cubic44 site. Sorry for the lame posts earlier.
Looks like I'm on-track now.

This is my first post. This thread rocks. I thought I'd contribute here, rather than doing a lame "First post" thread. This isn't anywhere near the level of the others, but it's my second "digital painting" and using a mouse (my calcomp in on vacation).
