First, the pics: the cat is a watercolor on paper study of my cat the other is a crappy practice pic done in photoshop...
Now, I've not posted much in general, partly because I don't have much to say and partly 'cuz I'm busy and I've not posted at all lately mostly because the forum seems quite crowded and crazy. Posts and participation is good, but it can get really hard to keep up, and I think some people don't get some deserved feedback while others get too much. I don't notice too much rudeness, I think overall it's pretty mellow, but maybe the quantity of posts is greater than the quality. Maybe this is all just the way of things in a very popular forum.
anyway, comment away folks...

The second one has a really neat feel to it, but the perspective seems to be a bit off. And there are some really horrible artifacts in the sky to the left - don't know if it's from dithering or JPEGing or both, but they're pretty distracting, and should be easy to fix. Very nice though. |

Thanks for the comment... I largely fudged the perspective, so it is far from right on. And yeah, there is some problem with the dithering or something, I'll fix it up when i go back to look at this on my hard drive some day... anyway thanks for the post waylon.
