Hi, in the spirit of "back to the roots of Sijun" how about a small forum game?

the game idea (not (c) by me btw):
a graphic made up from a number of tiles.
Each tile done by a different artist without knowing how the other tiles look like (except for the border).

The rules:
* You get an email with one of the following:
1. make a starter tile (= a tile that has no surrounding tiles yet)

2. make a secondary tile (a tile that already has one or more borders. You get to see 15 pixels of the surrounding pictures at the border in order to make a seemless border to yours).

* tiles have to be completed in about one day. if you are finished send them back to me and I'll add them to the picture.

* tiles have to be 100x100 pixels, jpg's (quality level about 9)

[i hope I didnt forget something]

the resulting artwork will be 5x4 tiles (for a start)

If you are interrested just post your reply and I'll send the emails then to the first 20 that want to participate(or if less one artists gets more than one tile to do)

By the way, how long would we have to complete it? I see on your site they are given 24 hours. I don't know if I could even find 24 hours of my life until after the 26th (mom's b-day) Hehe

Frost: I just said "within a day or so" so those that don't have starter tiles would not have to wait so long.

I guess two or three days would be okay too.
If you want I can then give you a tile where the surrounding tiles have already been sent in so you can take more time to finish yours without letting the others wait.

Starseed: No problem. You can have one with 4 Tiles surrounding yours.
