Hey all, its good to be back. In my unschedualed absence I managed to pick up on a few new techs and put them to good use. So without further adu here's my latest shot of Kai enjoying a quiet moment with a cigarette.
I know he only has one level of shading, but I honestly couldnt hold off till he was finished to post him up!
for anyone that may want to give Kai their own color scheme/style heres the original line art for your sadistic pleasures

Thanks for the compliments guys Right now I'm working on another image with a few characters in it. Its still in the pencil stages and the characters need some slight edits (read "clothes") but other then that its almost ready to ink.
I'm just not sure if I want to keep on working on this image of Kai, or move on to the next peice. Kai has been giving me some problems when it comes to his higher levels of shading, heh the first one is both the hardest and the easiest.

I like it a lot how it is, maybe you don't want to shade anymore.

Mab: I like what you've got so far, I'm sure it'll look great when its done. The t-shirt has a neat texture to it.
Absinthe: Thanks, I've been trying to draw forms based on shape and bone structure, rather then on muscle groups. its gone pretty well so far.

Doesn't his left arm (the right from our view) has to show some more muscles? I mean the bizeps is contracted... there has to be some convex form... |

Binke! Its been too damn long man! I just checked out your Art Dimesional site, you've improved a lot. I really liked that pic of the mountain with the sun rising, the little details really make that peice shine.
El Caseron: yeah the left arm is a bit messed up. I thought I had taken care of that when it reality I only buggered it up even further Oh well live and learn right?
