Mmmmm... looks great for a cartoon. I have no idea what effect your trying to achieve, so I'll leave it at that. You might wanna try making the lines finer and sharper in some areas.

How could I make the edges sharper? I am new to photoshop.

the edges look pretty sharp to me... the only way you could get them sharper is if they weren't anti-aliased. and that would look ba-a-ad.

if you're talking about getting sharper corners on triangles and such, try using the marquee tool to define the area you're drawing in, or you can draw a blocky line and use the background color to chisel it down to a point.
