ok, here, I drew some things really quickly, because chapel is right... there is too much talk, and not enough art, so here are my contribution to chapel's idea...

sorry for posting the amazon girl in this post, but it's just something I like... if you want to critique, please do!

Sprout: It's a good start - some anatomical studying for proportions and such might be helpful. Try not to draw from straight on and get used to the shapes as they exist in 3-dimensional space, breaking the body down into a series of cylinders spheres, boxes, etc.

I don't understand what the girl is holding in *her* right hand. =)

Gonna comment about No 3 if ya don't mind since I think that is the most interesting...

Like this look a lot. Esp the mask and dreadlocks (reminds me of Disney's Tarzan)
The vine in her left hand is rather basic looking (could be more angular I think too)
Like the exagerated muscles in the arms - particularly the left arm.

Mind if I have a go at colouring her in?

NDR113: hehe, thanks... it might be a while for a colored version, I've been throwing up all day.

I can't sit in front of the computer for too long, or I start to feel sick again. I'll try to keep up with things, if I don't start throwing up again--ugh.

but, I'm going to go lay down, getting *woozy*

Hey, you're getting better too fast, I can't keep up now!

As said I think some anatomy lessons would do you a world of good.
I like the first pic a lot, even tho it's not finished yet.

ah.. okay I saved them, anyway, I like the prespectives on the heads, and the blocky approach.

nightmare: please do! I can't color that well, I like to see GOOD color jobs on my drawings... hehe

thanks everyone... I really didn't expect to get this much input... =] it really means alot, and it has inspired me to start coloring them, this is what I have on the amazon so far... [I'm using a mouse... my tablet is screwed, I have to get another one]

let me know what you think so far... I've been working on and off for about 3 hours

oooohh, its a pouch! i didn't know what it was so i just left it...

its not very good -_-; but it was good practice
