Well I went ahead and inked this piece after I got comments on the last penciling that was done and posted. Seemed like things were right so I took the next step. Let me know what you think now that it's inked. I plan on coloring this and will probably begin doing so after posting this I will provide a link to a high res version as well if anybody wants to take a stab at coloring it. Laterz.

my nothing-knowing arse thinks it's too round in every bit. needs more sharp edge look to it. it looks like a winnie the pooh drawing now :D but seriously. i think if you sharpened his features up and made him a bit more sleek 'n sharp looking it'd help the overall image quite alot.

FaustGFX: Thanks much for your comments. I agree with you in that things are rounded and tapered in the inked version, but that was the inking style I did on that one. I never ink over my originals. I tape it to the back of some nice bristol and then ink it on a light table. I'll probably reink him in a more sharp, hardline style as well just to see which works best, so keep looking for it as I plan to finish this project out within a week. Thanks again for your comments and checking it out, it's appreciated.

Hey, great improvement over all. I like the decoration you've added and the proportion feels much better. Hand still look kinda small but I love the line work. Very clean .

I think you have improved a lot, but I agree with faust here, he is too round. If you want him to look strong you should have some straight lines. |

Thanks guys for the comments on this piece. I'm going to work on him some more during this evening and probably try another inking style as well as coloring him.
FaustGFX and Ragnarok: I think I'm going to ink this piece again with some more straight edged hardlines and see what happens. I usually do ink a piece in 2 - 3 different inking styles to see what works best. Thanks for the suggestion.
Anticz: Thanks for the kind words.
Kuzya: Your link to your image is broken although I was able to find it by digging manually through your dir structure at your website. Good start for only an hour. Keep it up.
Dives: By all means please do take a stab at coloring this. It's always neat to see others perspective on color theory for a piece that I've drawn.
Thanks much for all your guys help, it is appreciated. Laterz

Just hoping somebody would want to take a shot at coloring this...hehehe. I've started on my coloring but not too far into it yet, I'm going to ink it again in at least 2 more different inking styles to see what happens. Till then Laterz.
