Hey guys,

Firstly I must say this forum is excellent and that there are some very talented people here, I find these people's work very inspirational too.

Since I came across the forum I was inspired to get a wacom tablet and by chance a guy who lives in the same street as me had one (A4 intuos) he gave it to me to use and we are gonna do a deal for it after xmas !

So I got the tablet and decided to draw an eye (how original!) and here it is:



This is my first ever wacom drawing and is far from finished, I used a photograph for reference, I still need to finish eye lashes and eye brow.

Any comments would be much appreciated

it just keeps... looking at me!!!
i think its great, it looks really slimy and wet like an eyeball should. for some reason the iris looks less curved on the left side... not as curved as the other side... other than that i think its cool

Nice overall, except, shouldn't the eye be round, it's rather oval right now. Look closely at your own eyes, and you should see what i mean. Doh! Not that close!

Otherwise, nice detail, might want to add an eyebrow. Oh wait, you said you were going to add one later. Doh!

This is nice. Keep working on it. You might try rotating it a bit too -- to make it more interesting.
