Broken II

Ok, so Freddio got me thinking about the tutorial, and i just totally felt like doing it all of a sudden tonight. Below is the image that i'm gonna use. I decided to keep the same theme for this new tutorial as i had for my original tutorial from 2-3 years ago, same guy just after battle kneeling in the water. i've saved 20 in progress pics of it and will compile them into a tutorial in the next few months (i have to be liberal in my estimation).
I see some problems here and there, but i'll fix those when the tute is ready to go up and is finalized.

Nice work Dhabih. I think perhaps there is just a little too much contrast between the back and foreground though, but I can understand why you'd decide to do so. Really like the guy, with the fire reflections and lighting.

Frost I don't get why you say there is to much contrast in the background it just looks to me like there is a smokey haze behind him from the fire...just my opnion.

I think as usual dhab nailed this pic. It is awsome!!!!

What I love about this place is that with so many talented artists, it only pushes me harder to improve my own skills.

I read once:

"Be thankful for your enemies, for without them, you would have nothing to make you fight harder."

Thanks for the inspiration, Dhab.

Thanks to dabih and so many others on this forum, I have become a pagan worshipping my altar to the digital/artistic demigods.

Holy frickin' monkeys, Dhab! That rocks!! I hope to someday be as good as you.

Every time I see one of your pics I think, "I've gotta be that good." Post more pics dang it! How am I supposed to achieve perfection with no inspiration?
