Ho ho, Don't really know what stuff is that is growing in the field..

Anywayyy.. composition is a bit (actually a lot) baaaad.. The house is in the middle so it's kinda like a dead picture. But then again, it is kinda like a dead atmosphere in the countryside sometimes

Hmmhmm, The weed is too bright maybe.. Maybe a lower-contrast palette would have been better. The background trees.. hm.. maybe a bit too simple, overall composition sucks...
Perspectives?

heh, dont have much to say, you pretty muched critiqued yourself!

next time do the things you mentioned then post it without saying much. then let us critique it for you! moO! yes....moO!

the lines of weedness are twisted in a way that it makes it look like there is somewhat of a valley there, which would be bad for the crops, so the farmer dude wouldnt do it. unless he is stoned

and darken it a bit, and put a tractor next to the barn! wee!

oh the lightsource seems to be emmitting from the house, but the house has no light, neither does most of the things in the composition. add lightsource and put some highlights on the trees and make the blue sky not look like you used a circular gradient so much...

its good work and must be finished! go! fly my llamma tasting child into the 7-11's of your wildest dreams!!

That pic rocks technically. You're awesome with textures and whatnot. But as you said, the composition isn't too great. My eyes are forced to look at the bright green weeds rather than at the house or anything else. They kind of dominate the pic. Maybe toning the weeds down a bit and adding some brighter highlights and colors to the house might help.

Hey Partikle, that's quite nice indeed! Very well done. The only thing that bothers me is the darkness of it in general. The colors are good but too dark in tone, under-exposed. It's interesting also how there seems to be a darker perimeter to the focal point of the image, as the edges of the camera lens were dirty or darker. Very nice!

i could swear that same house and field is right across my street. i dig the dark sky and bright landscape, all my attempts at creating that sort of lighting have failed. crit wise, definatly add some brighter highlights to the house, give it a soft glow radiating off the roof. hope that sounded right.
